It’s been a while since I have posted a blog and there are a number of reasons why… but the main one was that I have just launched the ** gasp ** Franchise for Green Chilli Marketing. The Franchise has been over 2 years in the making and it’s been an exciting, frustrating, thrilling and  altogether awesome ride. While it was being developed, I sometimes wondered if it would actually get to the launch phase. But last Friday – it all came together.

The importance of the Franchise and what it means to me is so much more than just another arm of the business. It represents an opportunity to share my life, my journey and what I have learned in my years as a marketer. The most exciting part of this, is that I want to share this opportunity with other like-minded individuals who want to fit their work around their life, and not lose out on having a career. It is often the case that people have to make a choice between their life and their career – I am living proof that it is possible to do both and have both. I am also here to tell you that it is hard, sometimes it’s really hard, but the benefits far outweigh the difficulties that you face.

So at this point in my life, I am once again on the cusp of learning some lessons on life and business. It is and will always be my belief that we have lessons to learn, it is our choice whether to hear them or not. So I am standing on the edge of the Franchise-springboard (that I made myself) and I am ready to plunge into the cool blue waters and to feel every blissful bubble that glides on by.

I really want to take the time to thank the people that have really supported and encouraged me on this crazy ride, my gorgeous hubby and kidlets, the gorgeous TP, my friend RP, my friend LG and my inspiring mentor SS.
